The Heart Behind the Logo

The logo of Grace and Truth Ministries represents the heart of who we are. At the center is the cross, reminding us that Jesus Christ is the center of the Church and the foundation of everything we do. Our name comes from John 1:14, where Jesus is described as being “full of grace and truth.”

Surrounding the cross is the seven-branched menorah, the biblical lampstand described in Exodus 25. In our logo, it represents the presence and ministry of the Holy Spirit. Zechariah 4 connects the lampstand with the words, “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit” (Zechariah 4:6). Revelation 4:5 also speaks of seven lamps before the throne of God.

The seven lights remind us of the many ways the Holy Spirit works in and through the Church. He leads God’s people (Romans 8:14), teaches us all things (John 14:26), convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), empowers us to be witnesses (Acts 1:8), intercedes for us in prayer (Romans 8:26), sanctifies us (2 Thessalonians 2:13), and heals through the gifts He gives to the Church (1 Corinthians 12:9). Yet the cross remains at the center because the ministry of the Holy Spirit always points us to Jesus. Christ said of the Spirit, “He will glorify Me” (John 16:14).
Jesus Christ is our center. The Holy Spirit is our presence and power. Grace and truth is the message we carry to the world.
